OCR A Level Computer Science qualification helps students understand the core academic principles of computer science. Classroom learning is transferred into creating real-world systems through the creation of an independent programming project. Our A Level will develop the student’s technical understanding and their ability to analyse and solve problems using computational thinking.
- A minimum of 8 full course GCSEs. These must include at least 4 at grade 6 and 4 at grade 5. A minimum of grade 5 in English language and mathematics. To study four full A levels, a minimum of 8 full course GCSEs to include at least 4 at grade 8 and 4 at grade 7. - 6 in Maths GCSE. Beneficial to be studying A-level mathematics.
