- At least five GCSEs in grades 5-9 including 6 or above in GCSE physics or 6-6 in Combined Science. - Students who wish to take A-Level Physics need to achieve a grade 6 minimum in GCSE Maths.
Paper 1: Sections 1 to 5 and 6.1 (Periodic motion). Written exam: 2 hours, 85 marks, 34% of A-level Paper 2: Sections 6.2 (Thermal Physics), 7 and 8 and assumed knowledge from sections 1 to 6.1.
