By studying Further Mathematics it makes the transition from sixth form to university courses which are mathematically rich that much easier as more of the first year course content will be familiar. The course covers pure content (including algebra, calculus, sequences, complex numbers) and applied content (mechanics, statistics and decision mathematics). The deeper content covered will allow students to specialise in their areas of interest. Students studying Further Mathematics will also complete Mathematics at A-Level.
