Course summary

Psychology at Biddenham allows students to study principles of investigating human and animal behavior. Students can study AS or A Level Psychology (Eduqas) at Key Stage 5. Lessons aim to be both theoretical and practical. In addition to lessons, students are expected to work independently outside of the classroom. This work would typically involve research, note-taking, exam practice, and revision and provide creative learning opportunities. As part of the course, students engage in practical research. The department utilizes Google Classroom to encourage engagement with both learning and technology. Lesson resources are therefore accessible outside of the classroom. We also have a dedicated classroom to provide links to additional materials of interest to anyone studying Psychology, for example, TV shows, and news/magazine articles. The exam specifications have a significant focus on English, Math, and Science skills, and we support students with this throughout their lessons
