The aims of the A Level are to develop students understanding of geographical concepts and to understand and interpret our changing world. They will develop their awareness of the complex interactions within and between societies, economies, cultures and environments and recognise the challenges of sustainability.They will improve as critical and reflective learners aware of the importance of attitudes and values, including their own and be inspired by the world around them.
- Grade 6 or above in GCSE Geography and Grade 5 in English and Mathematics - Five full course GCSEs at Grade 6, in separate subjects at Grade 6 or higher (Core and Additional Science count as separate subjects. Short course GCSEs do not count towards the full course GCSE requirements). - Students should have a minimum of Grade 5 in both English Language and Mathematics.
