You’ll learn: the art of applying make-up and creative make-up artistry. Expect a practical course learning basic hair artistry alongside make-up up artistry with related theory such as health and safety, client care, anatomy and physiology for the make-up artist. You will be equipped with make-up skills, which will allow you to progress on to our level 3 Media Make-up Artistry course, leading to a career in the exciting world of media make-up. You may study techniques such as: • Apply basic make-up through to fashion make-up • Instruct clients on how to apply make-up • Eyelash and eyebrow treatments to compliment makeup • Body art design and application • Basic photographic make-up and different lighting techniques • Basic hair skills including hair ups and dressing hair to compliment makeup • Creating an image based on a theme • Anatomy and Physiology • Health and Safety working practises for the makeup artist
