Course summary

We are in a digital age where IT is everywhere! You will develop your knowledge of systems, management, and website development which will further you in the IT sector. A qualification in IT is an excellent way to improve your employability and this course allows you to develop key skills in information systems, communication, and the varying pathways for future employment. The department is home to a fully-equipped networking room allowing you to gain firsthand experience using, storing, and operating servers. Modules on this course allow you to demonstrate how to use IT systems to be an efficient communicator, how to project plan, and how to use social media in a business context. You will also look at data modeling and how to develop websites for a range of purposes.
