These are just some of the many exciting topics that you will be able to debate within Government and Politics lessons. In Year 12 students will focus on the Government and Politics of the UK and Political ideologies. In Year 13 students will study Global Politics. Other options have also been introduced, including political issues and ideologies in action. This course would complement students who wish to study History and English. It may also appeal to students who wish to study Government and Politics History at a higher level. A-level Government and Politics enables students to develop their critical thinking skills and enhance their ability to interpret, evaluate, and comment on the nature of politics.
