The Cambridge Technical (CTEC) Diploma in Health and Social Care is a vocationally related qualification equivalent to two A Levels which helps prepare students for employment in the health or social care sectors or for higher education. Students complete a number of mandatory units (building positive relationships, health & safety, equality and diversity, human lifespan, physiology and psychological perspectives in health) as well as a wide range of optional and specialist units. Students will also benefit from completing work experience within a health and social care setting. The variety of modules enable students to focus on a sector of particular interest or relevance to them and to produce a personal and professional development portfolio.
7 GCSEs at grade 4 or above including grade 4 in Mathematics and English and 4/5 in Science.
Through a combination of coursework and exams.
