Course summary

This qualification focuses on the development of the knowledge and skills needed to work in the Health and Science sector and prepares students to enter the sector through employment, as an Apprentice or after university studies. The two-year course has been developed in collaboration with employers and businesses so that the content meets the needs of industry and prepares learners for work. Therefore, the course also includes a minimum of 315 in industry placement, where students will be ‘hands-on’ working in the healthcare industry.
