Course summary

Coping with the present and worrying about the future can seem so all consuming that you may feel you have no time to think about the past. But everything happening now is a result of something that happened before. Getting to grips with the past is essential to understanding our place in the world, and our best hope of preparing ourselves for the future. History is the key to understanding how the world works – or doesn't – and how we fit into it.
