At 16+ into the Sixth Form on condition of passing at least six GCSEs at grades 9-6 with the proviso that the candidate must meet the specific requirements of the subjects to be taken at A Level or IB, or in the subjects being used as criteria for subjects which are ‘new’ in the Sixth Form. These normal criteria may be waived at the discretion of the Head if, for example, it is felt that the candidate has the potential to be successful at A Level or IB.
