Course summary

We aim to instill skills of communication which lead to our students to speak articulately and confidently. Written skills will be polished, accurate and converge with the desired audience the discourse is targeted at. We hope to study a wide range of literature which will inspire our students to read classical and contemporary literature independently. During the study of literature, we encourage students to work independently to discover their own opinions regarding the text. We then come together as a class and discuss individual thoughts to form different insights the text stimulates. Teachers will make sure important themes are addressed in all topics of English and student participation is encouraged. English is taught in primary, secondary and higher education. If English is chosen to study at higher education, the Edexcel syllabus will be followed.
