If you enjoyed the challenges of the higher tier GCSE Mathematics and solving problems, then you are ideally suited to the A level Mathematics course. This course will build upon your previous knowledge and develop your analytical and problem-solving skills, allowing you to develop your mathematical fluency. Throughout the course you will explore a multitude of mathematical topics such as methods of proof, 3D geometry, series and sequences, modelling pulleys and statistical analysis of data. An A level in Mathematics demonstrates excellent analytical and problem solving skills to future employers and is highly regarded by universities. A level Mathematics provides an excellent base for further study in areas such as mathematics, engineering, computing, economics, architecture, and science-based degrees. Studying A level Mathematics also allows students to master the mathematical components of other degrees, such as Psychology and Business, with ease.
