Course summary

Physics is generally recognised as the most fundamental of the sciences. It is also the most mathematical. For this reason it is highly regarded by most university admissions officers even when its relevance may not be immediately obvious. While it is a desirable subject at A Level for anyone intending to study Medicine and Engineering at University, many business and law courses will also accept A Level Physics as an entry qualification. An important part of the course is to enhance the students’ understanding of the link between theory and experiment and foster the development of skills in the design and execution of experiments.
