The EPQ is a qualification designed to extend and develop your skills in independent research and project management.
A Level Programme: • To study with us you will need to have an average of at least 6 subjects at level 7.5 at GCSE or IGCSE, (including level 8 in Mathematics and in any subjects that you wish to study at A level that you have already studied at GCSE or IGCSE.) • If you are not studying a GCSE/iGCSE programme, we will review your qualifications alongside our internal assessments and determine if you meet our entry requirements. • All offers for international students are conditional on obtaining an IELTS overall score of 5.0 or equivalent. • Students not in possession of an IELTS score of 5.5 are required to attend the Pre-A-Level course.
Assessment takes place throughout the process, as well as on the final report or product. Marks are given for your project planning, time management, research, development of argument, evaluation and presentation. The UCAS points you earn on your EPQ will depend on what grade you achieve.
