This course introduces students to a variety of experiences exploring a range of graphic media, techniques and processes. They are made aware of traditional and new technologies and explore areas of graphics such as illustration, packaging, design for print, communication and motion graphics. Practical work is underpinned by a study of historic and contemporary designers. The course includes an introduction to industry-standard software applications such as InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
