Music is an excellent course for pupils who love performing as either singers or instrumentalists. Previous A Level Musicians from the Mount have moved on to performing courses in conservatories, stage schools and universities. During the course, students learn about a wide range of musical genres, and study some pieces in detail. There are numerous performance opportunities and composition work alongside the technical study of different musical styles.
This is an academically rigorous course and demands technical knowledge of music theory.
