Making sense of global economic change has become an increasingly restless task in recent years: The global pandemic, Brexit, the resurgence of protectionism, war in Eastern Europe, frequently changing interest rates, growing levels of debt, the return of high inflation and the task of climate change mitigation has meant that Economics remains firmly in the spotlight. We require external students joining STAHS to achieve a minimum of grade 6 in Maths and in English, alongside the grade requirements in relevant GCSEs for their chosen A levels. Grade 8 in GCSE Mathematics Grade 7 or above at GCSE in an essay-based subject (eg English, History, Religious Studies).
