A-level mathematics and Further Mathematics have higher requirements. Subjects that are new at A-Level will have requirements from (1)GCSEs that assess appropriate skills, e.g. Economics requires a grade 7 or higher in both English Language and Mathematics. It is useful to have taken (1)GCSE Music to progress to A-Level Music Technology.
