The Level 3 Cambridge Technical Diploma in Business course is worth UCAS points equivalent to two A-levels. It is a double module where 11 units are completed over the two years.
Pupils normally need a minimum of 6 GCSE passes with at least a grade B in the subjects they choose to study at A Level or for the IB Diploma.
The course is mainly portfolio assessed but also includes two examinations in the first year and one in the second. The students are given opportunities to apply the theory they learn to the business environment. They will research particular organisations both individually and in groups and present their findings in the form of detailed and thorough coursework. Students will build evidence from the business they are investigating through a range of research methods
