Economics considers how societies can make the best use of the limited resources available to them. It encourages you to think about many of the issues that society faces today. It will help you to understand, and answer many important questions such as: • How do societies use finite resources to provide the highest possible standard of living for their citizens? • Why do some people get paid much more than others? • What does the globalisation of world markets mean for consumers, businesses and governments?

No previous knowledge is required. Standard Sixth Form entry applies.
