A Level Drama builds upon the skills developed at GCSE but asks students to consider a more holistic directorial view of performance. This allows them to fully realise their own production strategies and creativity through an understanding of context and practitioner technique. Students will practically explore set text and create original theatre in connection with theatre practitioner aims, emulating the styles of others through process and performance. Students will also extend their understanding of how we create meaning through performance and design to create a wider understanding for their audiences.
