Life after death, religious experiences, religious teachings and practices, moral theory, medical ethics and ‘free will’ are just some of the topic areas that are covered in this course. Issues are addressed through direct philosophical examination and by studying the ways in which these questions have been responded to in different religions and cultures, with particular reference to Judaism.
