Mathematics A Level aims to enable students to develop their understanding of mathematical principles, extend their mathematical skills and techniques in other subjects, and develop the ability to recognise when real life situations can be modelled ma thematically. This A Level will give students the tools to solve interesting, challenging problems and be well-equipped f or university studies. It has an emphasis on pure mathematics – covering topics such as calculus, algebra and trigonometry – as well as statistics and mechanics.
Grade 7 in Mathematics at Higher Tier
There is also an option to study AS Level Further Mathematics. This provides an excellent opportunity for those aiming to study mathematical and scientific courses at university to develop their mathematical skills to a high level.
