In Advanced Mathematics you will begin to learn the powerful techniques that allow you to model and understand a wide variety of natural and man-made processes. The Pure Mathematics strands will build on your GCSE work to develop the necessary foundation skills, and the Applied Mathematics strands look at a wide variety of applications.
In addition to enjoying maths and wanting to do the subject, you will be expected to have achieved at least a grade 7 in your GCSE, at Higher Level.
