You can expect to study double the amount of content of A Level Maths, across a range of Pure Maths, Mechanics and Statistics. The department will also support those studying STEP and AEA Mathematics. A Levels in Maths and Further Maths represent the best background for Mathematics courses at Oxford, Cambridge and Warwick plus many other top universities. They are also excellent background for those wishing to study more academic Computer Science, Economics, Engineering and Physics courses. Some universities generally prefer the breadth of three distinct subjects, but there are instances where Maths, Further Maths and one other subject are acceptable.
New entrants must have a minimum of Grade 5 in GCSE English Language and Maths Grade 7–9 in Maths GCSE/IGCSE is strongly recommended
