Art in the Sixth Form at Shrewsbury is a creative, exciting and contemporary course designed to enable pupils to personalise and refine their own creative skills and ideas until they become experts in their field. Although it is not a formal requirement, we strongly recommend that pupils opting for Art should have already taken a GCSE in Art or another relevant creative subject. The endorsement of the Art & Design A Level course will be selected for the pupil once we have diagnosed what area of art the pupil wants to specialise in and doesn’t need to be decided at the start of the course.
Sixth Form, conditional on them achieving at least three GCSEs at Grade 7 and three GCSEs at Grade 5 (or three A and three B grades).
