This course is attractive to students who enjoy practical work and have a keen interest in theatre. Seeing plays live in a variety of theatrical settings and styles is a requirement of the course. Students study the works of influential directors; designers, theatre companies and playwrights who have made a significant contribution to theatre practice. Students also study and explore practically and theoretically, pivotal and vital plays from ancient Greece to the present day. Plays are studied in a practical and theoretical manner in order to apply practical ideas and theories to examination questions.
