Course summary

Psychology is the scientific study of the mind and behaviour. It is deceptively challenging but the focus on human behaviour ensures that it is consistently gripping and extremely rewarding. It enables you to appreciate the drives and motivations behind a wide range of behaviours in a non-judgmental but practical way. There will be ample opportunity to make discoveries in practical areas such as Health and Abnormal Psychology. You will also have the unique opportunity to conduct your own psychological investigation into your chosen area of human behaviour and appreciate the challenges of conducting psychological research for yourself.

Entry requirements

6 in GCSE Biology, or 6 6 in the Biology part of Science Double Award.
