Modern languages are the gateway to a better, brighter future; your knowledge of a specific language will give you opportunities to live and work in a variety of non-English-speaking environments as well as opening your eyes to different views of the world. The values of tolerance, openness, inquisitiveness and flexibility are all fostered by learning a language.
