We teach A level Economics, Business and Politics, and International Baccalaureate Higher and Standard Level Economics and Business Management. We also offer AS and A Level Global Perspectives. Over 200 pupils study these subjects in the Sixth Form.
Sixth Form admissions at Malvern College are based on entrance tests and an interview with a member of the College’s academic staff. Applicants must pass the College’s standard entry criteria including an online CAT4 test and an English test (Oxford Placement Test) to qualify. If successful, conditional offers are made, requiring a minimum of six (I)GCSE passes. In addition, ‘7’ or above will be required for pupils studying Maths A level and ‘8’ or above for those wanting to study Further Maths A level or IB Higher Level Maths. While a grade of ‘7’ or above is advisable for A level or IB higher level Science subjects, it is not essential.
