Metaphysics and Epistemology How do we know what we know? Do our senses give us an accurate picture of reality? Is there one reality or multiple? Do we learn everything from experience or are we born pre-programmed? Can we even define what knowledge is? Is guessing the right answer the same as knowing the right answer? What do we mean when we say something is right or wrong? Is morality subjective? Is morality objective? Is it right to kill one person to save five? Can we make rational judgements? Can we define what is good or do we know it intuitively? The course consists of four topics: What is knowledge? Morality Philosophy of Mind The metaphysics of God
