Language skills are increasingly sought by employers in a wide range of fields, including finance, engineering, the diplomatic service, sales and marketing, the military, business management journalism, publishing, academia, tourism, education, interpreting, translating and the media. Indeed, many international companies expect fluency in more than one foreign language. In many other countries, such a course of study is compulsory to age 18 and employers world-wide increasingly specify foreign-language competence in job advertisements. Many of our former pupils have found that foreign-language skills open doors to opportunities in the whole world.
Sixth Form, conditional on them achieving at least three GCSEs at Grade 7 and three GCSEs at Grade 5 (or three A and three B grades).
