Teaching and learning is enhanced through a wide range of IT and multimedia to encourage pupils of all abilities to fulfil their potential. The department is headed by Mrs Ekaterina Solovyova, a graduate of Moscow State University and the author of many Russian teaching materials. External applications are warmly invited for Sixth Form (Year 12) entry. Our minimum entry requirements are at least 5 A*/A grades or grade 7 or above at GCSE, and it is expected that you will achieve an A* or grade 8/9 in the subjects you want to study at A Level. In addition, external candidates are required to achieve at least a grade A, or grade 7 or above, in English Language and Mathematics. Should an applicant wish to change their subject choices following tests, offer or acceptance of the offer, we reserve the right to re-test and/or re-interview.
