We cover the essential aspects of inorganic, organic and physical chemistry to provide an intellectually stimulating course, building on knowledge acquired at GCSE. The factual base of the subject is supported by practical work, and by experimental evidence. There is an element of mathematical content and a strong mathematical background would be desirable for students wanting to take this course.
