Redox, Formulae, Equations and Amounts of Substance, Energetics, Equilibrium, Acid-base Equilibria, Transition Metals Paper 2 (30%) 1 hour 45 minutes written exam Advanced Organic and Physical Chemistry: Bonding and Structure, Redox, Formulae, Equations and Amounts of Substance, Organic Chemistry (Alkanes, Alkenes, Alcohols, Haloalkanes, Carbonyls & Carboxyls, Amines, Organic Synthesis), Modern Analytical Techniques, Kinetics Paper 3 (40%) 2 hours 30 minutes written exam General and Practical Principles in Chemistry Synoptic questions covering any content, conceptual and theoretical understanding of experimental methods. Practical endorsement This is internally assessed via the completion of core practical activities and is certified separately, alongside the A Level grade.
