So many students say to me that Biology is their favourite subject. Why? Because in Biology we get to study the components of life itself. We get to look at how organisms interact with one another and their environment. Biologists are scientists who study the living world, from the largest mammals down to microscopic DNA. They try to understand how living organisms work (particularly humans), how we evolved and how things make us ill. We can then use this information to try to prevent diseases spreading, improve public health, learn about the care of animals and conservation.
Each of the six subjects is marked out of 7 (maximum of 42 points).
