We aim to develop enthusiastic and confident language learners whose skills are based on strong grammatical foundations, enabling competent manipulation of the language. We exploit a range of textual and digital teaching resources, as well exposing students to the cultural context of language through film, music and current affairs.
Entry to the Sixth Form is dependent on GCSE or equivalent qualifications, and a reference from the candidate’s current school. Students require 6 GCSE subjects at grade 6 or higher, with at least a grade 6 in each of your chosen A Level subjects. For some subjects a grade 7 at GCSE is required.
