This course aims to facilitate students’ understanding of the business environment using up-to-date case study material, which is applied to the various syllabus topics. Students are encouraged to take an interest in topical business issues in newspapers and other forms of media. Topics on the syllabus will require students to manage data effectively and tackle quantitative decision-making models, such as ‘break-even’ and ‘contribution’.
