Latin A Level offers students the opportunity to develop their language skills along with their appreciation of Latin literature. A highly regarded qualification, it works well with any combination of subjects, including the sciences, dealing with both the logical and the imaginative. The study of Latin leads to a greater understanding and appreciation of our own civilisation and heritage, and is still highly relevant to the world today.
All students need a minimum of five GCSE passes (any subject) at grade 4 or better to study in Sixth Form. If students achieve an average point score of 8 or higher across all of their GCSEs they can study 4 A Levels or equivalent subjects. Must be actively performing at club level in an individual and/or a team sport.
