If you want to know the future, you must first look into the past. Studying History enables us to study the men and women who have helped shape the world we live in today. Entry requirements

This course is designed to be a natural progression from GCSE History courses and it is recommended that students have achieved at least a grade 6 in the subject at GCSE.

How you'll be assessed

Two written exams: each consisting of 2 hours 30 minutes - 80% of A Level. One piece of coursework: a 4,500-word essay on Bismarck and the unification of Germany 20% of A Level.
