In a changing and uncertain world, the study of History has never been so relevant or important. History is more than the study of the past, it is the process of recording, reconstructing and interpreting the past through the use of a wide variety of media. It is a discipline that gives students an understanding of themselves, their identity and the world in which they live. History is every story. Students will study: A variety of options. Teachers teach to their specialisms and students perform best where teachers have expertise. Paper 1 covers 110 years: • The Tudors OR • America; Birth of a Superpower Paper 2 depth paper: • Weimar and Nazi Germany OR • The American Civil War OR • The English Revolution
