Course summary

The A Level course is designed to delve deeper into the culture and history of Spain. We cover topics such as changes to family structure, Hispanic festivals, gender equality and the Spanish Civil War and move to democracy. The examination tests the topics across the four same skills. Class activities are varied, and students develop new skills such as translation and film and literature analysis. The students also benefit from a one-to-one weekly meeting with our Spanish assistant to help them prepare for the oral examination.
