Our ambition is for all students to have an enriched experience of Biology, relevant to them, whatever level they study to and to achieve this we offer many opportunities to explore the subject outside of lessons such as dissection club, field trips and our vets and medics group.
Our current requirement for entry into the Sixth Form is a minimum of six Grade 5s at GCSE (or the equivalent), preferably with Grade 7s in the subjects to be studied at A Level. Places are offered on the basis of an interview with the academic team and Head of Sixth Form, academic assessment, predicted GCSE results and a report from the pupil’s current school.
