For entry into the Sixth Form, all pupils are expected to achieve an average of a grade 7 in their GCSE examinations at the end of Year 11. Given the pace and character of our Sixth Form teaching, we expect pupils to achieve at least a grade 8 in the subjects that they wish to study at A-Level. Pupils who fail to meet the entry criteria will have their applications for the Sixth Form considered before reaching a decision and the School will discuss this with pupils and parents following the release of GCSE results.
