You will need to obtain a minimum of grade 7-7 in GCSE Core and Additional Science or a grade 7 or higher in GCSE Physics. You should preferably have a grade 7 in Higher Tier Mathematics GCSE.
There are three written examination papers covering the theoretical and practical content of the course with an additional practical endorsement.
