This course requires learners to build on the knowledge, understanding and skills established at CSE and to be of grade 6 standard or above. These skills include: ● developing judgement and independence as they synthesise and reflect upon their knowledge of a range of texts ● showing knowledge and understanding of the ways texts are interpreted by different readers over time ● identifying the significance of cultural and contextual influences on readers and writers
