Course summary

Where Business Studies is ultimately a practical subject to improve entrepreneurial decision-making, Economics is a more abstract subject which aims to rationalise how a wide variety of problems may be dealt with more efficiently. Using simple assumptions of behaviour, Sixth Form Economics rapidly builds up a picture of how the government could better deal with issues of healthcare and the environment, global trade and stock market instability, taxes and interest rates.
