Course summary

If you enjoy reading a range of literature and like the idea of studying some of the great writers, A Level English Literature is for you. This course is highly regarded by universities. You will learn how to express yourself succinctly and how to construct a persuasive, cogent argument. Along the way, you will experience some of the great works of English Literature across a range of historical periods, from the medieval to the present day. This is a two year course which is examined at the end of the Upper Sixth.
