Students taking A Level Psychology learn to understand the reasons and motivations behind human behaviour and the facets of abnormal behaviour. Issues specifically related to psychology such as ethics, culture and gender are discussed during the course, providing insight into other areas of society. Psychology gives students a unique understanding of why people behave in a certain way and what causes human behaviour both from a biological and social perspective
Students will be expected to have met the School’s threshold requirements with passes in GCSE English and Mathematics at Grade 5 or above. No other specific GCSE subjects are required.
